Round Robin Match Play
FORMAT:
You will play a nine hole match against the other three teams in your flight. Cards will be dotted off of the low handicap.
Play the course in order. When you finish your first match, please wait for the group behind you to complete their match. You will then switch opponents and proceed to the next tee.
Order of Matches
Round 1: 1 v 4/2 v 3
Round 2: 2 v 4/1 v 3
Round 3: 1 v 2/3 v 4
SCORING:
Matches will be scored on a +/- scale.
Ex. Team 1 beats Team 2 1 UP. Meaning that at the end of the nine hole match, Team 1 won ONE more hole that Team 2. For that match, Team 1 will receive a score of +1, Team 2 receives a score of -1.
If the match is ALL SQUARE, the score would be 0 - 0.
If Team 1 beats Team 2 2 UP, Team 1 would receive a score of +2 and Team 2 would receive a score of -2.
The max for any Match is +2/-2. So if your team really gets hammered in a match, the most you can go negative is -2.
At the end of all three matches, the team with the best score will be the winner. The best score possible would be +6. (+2 x 3)
TIE BREAKER: (All ties are broken)
1st Tie Breaker - Head to Head Match Result.
2nd Tie Breaker - Most Points Last Match. (Max is +2)
3rd Tie Breaker - Most Points Second Match. (Max is +2)
4th Tie Breaker - Most Points First Match. (Max is +2)
5th Tie Breaker - Chip Off.
FLIGHT PAYOUT:
1st - $100/Team
2nd - $ 60/Team
